I hadn't heard that Three Dog Night song in decades, but it was playing in the background at Trader Joe's when I when I went to stock up on Stuff Monday evening.

I couldn't help but wonder if it had anything to do with a certain football game in Allston this weekend.

The Yale Band used to have a marching band arrangement of that, which startled me the first time I heard it (knowing the song from a Laura Nyro album).
