A large weasel -- cat sized or slightly bigger-- tried to cross Interstate 95 in Hampton, NH, shortly before 3 AM last night. It got as far as the second lane from the right before thinking better of the idea and running back the way it came.
This is the second weasel I've seen in New Hampshire; the first was at the the WBYY transmitter site last year, and it disappeared into the woods before I got a good look at it.
Now, I suppose you'll want to know how I came to be on I-95 in the dead of night; well, I had been working on the main transmitter at WTSN yesterday afternoon when the power failed, plunging the building into darkness. Eventually the power came back, but it fried a transistor in one of the PDM amplifier modules, and I couldn't get the damn thing back on the air until 2 AM.
