On a train

...in Atlanta. I am on my way to New Orleans with my father, brother, and nephew. There is snow on the ground here, although there wasn't in southern Virginia last night. It is only a coating, though, nothing like the 18 inches or so back home.

Battery running out. Must dash.

In New Orleans

... and tired. Visiting some family friends tomorrow morning. I suspect we'll connect with the rest of our group in the morning as well.

It feels later than it really is, because the clocks went back an hour when we crossed the Georgia/Alabama line.
