I moved a radio station from southern Rhode Island to Dover, New Hampshire this morning... well, the transmitter and audience are still in Rhode Island, but the programming is being run by a computer in New Hampshire. Since their satellite dish became unusable a few days ago, this was the only way I could think of to get them back on the air immediately.
The snake is out of his I Can't Believe It's Not Butter container. He is very impressive looking, even though he's only about three feet long.
Now, what sort of evolutionary circumstances would produce a creature that has no arms or legs, no ears, no voice, no eyelids, and eyes covered by translucent scales? Burrowing in dry, sandy soil would be my guess.
