Got some stuff done in the yard

First, found various things (tools, pots, buckets) that had been left there and relocated them to the basement.
Second, removed a bunch of vines that had been threatening to cut off my phone and electric service. This was non-trivial, and portions of the vines had to be left in place, if cut off from further nourishment from the ground.
Third, recovered the power cord I needed for the lawn mower, which was massively tangled.
Fourth, tried to get the lawn mower to work but found it wasn't getting power.
Fifth, got my volt ohm meter and discovered the circuit breaker feeding my outside outlet had popped. Reset the breaker.
Sixth, mowed as much of the lawn I could get to, pausing several times to extract rocks and a rake(!) concealed in the thick grass. Oh, and a long orange power cord that accidentally got cut in two; fortunately it wasn't connected to anything. I'll splice it back together as soon as I can get some heat shrink tubing.
Hey, at least the AM station in RI didn't go off the air this morning, as it had for the past five days in a row. And we sang a couple of cool Thanksgiving-related anthems in church, and "Come, ye thankful people, come", one of my favorite hymns.
