House cleaning

I just spent several hours doing some cleaning: vacuuming, dusting, and going through vast piles of paper. The last was the most frustrating. Paper is the bane of my existence.

I did not attempt to clean the spare bedroom; it's still full of stuff belonging to my former housemate.
