I know some of y'all are not animal lovers, and I have never found dogs particularly interesting, but there is something special about coming home to something that literally jumps for joy at one's arrival. It is hard to avoid smiling when there is a creature like the one I have come to call Hyperdog, Lord Woofington, and The Duke of Barkingham living in one's house.
