This hectic week

...has taken me from Dover, NH, on the border with Maine, to Hope Valley, RI, near the Connecticut border, and I spent most of Thursday with a tower crew on the roof of a women's dormitory at Boston College. The tower crew, of course, showed up in T-shirts that read:

We Always Get It Up!

In Hope Valley yesterday I saw two hummingbirds flitting among the pine branches, and a couple of lazy raptors circling overhead, but no turkeys this time.
