necturusIt sounded like there were thousands of angry bees in the broadcast booth. What a contrast to Germany four years ago, when everybody seemed to be singing "Go West" by the Village People.
But seriously, this has been a strange World Cup. France throw a hissy fit, crash, and burn; *Italy* crash and burn; and the U.S. finish at the top of their group. What a far cry from 1998, when the U.S. lost to Iran and France were the champions.
