If a tree falls in the forest...
Mar. 11th, 2013 02:10 pm...it'll cost a couple thousand dollars to get rid of.
If you have two more trees in danger of falling, and you want them removed too, it'll bring the total to just over six grand.
Oh, and I just found out my neighbors sold their house because of a divorce. That would explain the bewildering array of cars I saw there and the Indian guy walking the dog.
No, I'm not at WUMB today. I'll be there Thursday and Friday, and in Framingham on Wednesday. If I want to visit my father this weekend, I'll have to blow off church. As it happens, the organist is blowing off church, so this is probably not the worst Sunday to blow it off.
Our big event for the season, Schubert's Mass #2 in G-dur, was yesterday. It went pretty well.
It suddenly occurred to me how odd it is that the Germans use "dur" and "moll" for major and minor, respectively; those words would appear to be French for "hard" and "soft". Major = hard? Weird.
