No blizzard?
Feb. 9th, 2013 07:33 pmboston.com is reporting that there was no blizzard this weekend.
Evidently the necessary conditions are 35 mile-an-hour winds and visibility of one quarter mile or less, for three consecutive hours. According to boston.com that didn't happen, so no blizzard.
We did, however, get enough snow that it took a total of three and a half hours for me to shovel out my driveway. The longest I ever remember it taking before was an hour and a half.
I've a hunch I'm going to be a bit sore tomorrow morning. Choir has been cancelled; evidently the church is near but the road is icy (the bar is far away, but we will walk carefully, says the Russian proverb).
