Is this our future?

For a while now I've been considering the possibility that disenchantment with dysfunctional government, amplified by economic misery, might lead to dictatorship. Since there is no left in American politics, that dictatorship would necessarily be of the right, driven by a mass movement embracing militant nationalism and fundamentalist Protestantism.

Now comes New Apostolic Reformation and its ideology, Strategic Level Spiritual Warfare (SLSW). It's nothing like Fascism, Nazism, Falangism, Japanese militarism, or bin Ladenism, but in some ways it's alarmingly like all of them. And it's uniquely American.
