An annoyed voter
Sep. 14th, 2010 08:33 amWhen I got to the polls this morning I found out why I couldn't remember anything about any of the Democratic candidates for state senator.
There aren't any. There are three town selectmen running for state representative, but nobody running for the state senate. The Republican will win by default, and that surprises me because he was only elected a couple of months ago in a special election to replace the infamous Scott Brown, to whom Martha Coakley handed Senator Kennedy's seat on a silver platter.
And Ms. Coakley herself? She's running for re-election as attorney general, unopposed as far as I know.
Now it's off to New Hampshire, where I'll get to see lots of Republican signs on my way to work.
