Freecell solitaire vs. Tetris
Aug. 24th, 2009 11:47 pmTetris is a loser's game. No matter how long you play, you are certain to lose, to go down to ignominious defeat. It is a mathematical certainty.
Freecell, on the other hand, is a winner's game. It differs from all other solitaire games I've tried in that every game is winnable. It is a problem solver's paradise in that while some of the games are hard, none are impossible.
On the train home after ten hours at work, I will play a bit of each. I've gotten pretty good at freecell, but am usually a basket case at Tetris.
